You know a product is hot when you don't even need to show it.
You also have to hand it the "Switch" creative team who simplicity in direction and catchy jingle makes it obviously recognizable once it begins. Classic Apple style.

Any advertiser will tell you that instant brand name recognition is more important than a public knowledge of products. If Apple became universally known as "cool" they'd blow MS out the window overnight.
I think apple is really starting to get the image of being cool. Just think when non-mac users walk into an apple store for the first time. most are like, "damn this is neat." Just give it a little more time.

and not only that, everyone in my school (most of them non-Mac users) alwyays say how cool the iPod is and how they want one.
