Best place to buy RAM in Canada?
It's well documented that we Canadians pay more for RAM at local Mac dealers.
I'm not sure if the price works out to be cheaper after duty/brokerage fees by ordering from places like RAMJet
Anyone order from this Canadian outfit?
They have "generic" iMac RAM at $131 Cdn. for 512mb.

BUT, I do check prices online. I've seen price differences of $100 CDN on RAM at times. I've bought from Crucial a couple of times, and 1800memory.com or whatever. Just check the shipping, they sometimes want upwards of $25 US to ship it here. Even with that though, it's sometimes worth it.
When I've bought from both of these guys, I've only ever had to pay GST on the RAM. I've got a FedEx account now, so it just gets put on that. Otherwise FedEx will call you when it hits the border and you'll have to arrange payment of the GST before they'll ship it - credit card works fine.
Haven't even heard of Canada RAM, I'll have to have a gander...

For the iBook, the 512MB Kingston is $360, while Generic is only $186. (CDN $)
$186 is certainly a good price, but it's basically half the price of Kingston. Hmmm.
I'll report back to any additional findings.
Seriously, go with cheap.
