It just seems so, so... clunky. Why try to turn this bulky thing into a camera? Because you can? There are far more ellegant ways to do this. Maybe we'll see something from Apple soon. Can you say "PowerPod"?

Don't be so hasty...

I actually ordered an archos jukebox recorder off amazon, but they didn't deliver to Canada. One week later the iPod came out. So I'm holding off until the 'Pod gets recording capabilities.

And an MPEG-4 video camera would be awesome! While Archos' strong suite is obviously NOT industrial design, they have ground-breaking products.

The product will be expensive, but probably not too bad compared to a larger miniDV camera.

1.8 inch screens seems too small to be worth anything. Digital cameras do the same thing, they just need an iPod harddrive.

When the screen is the size of a pda or better, maybe...
