I want to be able to use my TiBook as a display for video games...

the <a href="http://www.elgato.com"; target="_blank">eyeTV</a> won't work because there is a 2 second lag...

what options do i have short of the $400+ formac F/W converter?

you mean you want to plug your console (x.box, PS) into your PB and play there ?

yup... for example, it would be nice to play PS 2 in the car... (we already have an outlet, so that problem is solved...) I know i could get one of those LCD things, but I'd like to be able to use it in my dorm as well

besides, I know the guys who live next door have TV cards in their PCs that they play video games, it would be nice to be able to show them up and play it on a portable system, rather then a tower
