Apple issues new public & developer iOS 10.2, macOS 10.12.2 betas, plus dev-only watchOS 3.1.1 beta

in General Discussion edited December 2016
Apple on Monday issued a sixth iOS 10.2 beta and a fifth macOS 10.12.2 beta to developers and public beta testers, as well as a fourth watchOS 3.1.1 developer beta, all of which include unspecified bug fixes and performance improvements.

Release notes accompanying each of the three betas offer little information about what the updates include beyond maintenance changes. The short cycle on the iOS beta -- just days after the last update -- at least suggests that a release is imminent.

Major additions for iOS 10.2 include a selection of fresh wallpapers and emoji characters, which debut alongside minor additions like new first-party widgets and system settings tweaks.

iOS 10.2 and tvOS 10.1 will also add single sign-on support for streaming TV, allowing users subscribed to cable, satellite, or online-only services to access channels across multiple apps without constantly re-authenticating.

Apple has previously said that its "TV" app will launch on iOS and tvOS as a free software update in December.

Monday's iOS 10.2 update comes hot-on-the-heels of Friday's fifth iOS beta, which makes for three iOS updates in eight days.

Developers can download the latest beta releases from Apple's developer webpage or directly on test devices via Software Update. Public beta participants can get the software as an over-the-air update if they're already registered in the program.

Does anybody know if there is a place that I can download the release notes for each iteration of the Beta releases?

Yes, they are available from the developer site.

Just updated to the latest Beta and it hung up about 80% of the way through. I let it go for a little over an hour but it didn't change status. Had to force shutdown and restart. It was slow starting up again and appears to be ok. Version shown is 10.12.2 Beta (16C60b). I'm on a Mac Mini mid 2011.
