I'm so incredibly over hearing Cooky boy say the same thing over and over. Since we all have short memories, here are some links to illustrate my point. Some of these date back to 2013!!!!!!!!!  OVER 5 YRS, this clown has been promising, something new, great new stuff ahead, yet nothing of significance has been delivered.

The list goes on and on.  I promise, New, Exciting, innovative, secret, coming soon, are in the pipleline.. huh huh huh - Newsflash hasn't happened, and its coming to the point where too little too late. Selling 2013 macs, today at full price, Not improving much of anything, Missing opportunities to launch products like Alexa. Falling asleep on wireless standards, Monitors, just about everything. To say Apple has work to do, is hugely understated.

You, know Steve Jobs had a saying.. something along the line... If it didn't suck you wouldn't have to defend it.  I hear Tim cook getting awfully defensive lately.
Wow...you over did yourself this morning! /s   Better take a break...

Steve was also saying the same things when he was CEO....so I think you have a short term memory as well.

I'd like to see the citation of this supposed Steve Jobs quote somewhere.

Damn It the 5 series (nonC) is by far the best on balance version of the iPhone to date yet gets relegated to half shots in the graphics.
Although I see kids of two years of age with iPhones, at 72 years of age I've only just purchased my very first mobile device... and after much pondering it was a 5S.

As a first-time user I was unsure of the form factor in my smallish hands, but after a few days of struggling to type captions to photos - the latter of which had a finger in many a shot - everything became routine... aided by the predictive text in French when messaging a lady friend. However, as I am now so enamoured with this method of communication, star (celestial) spotting, casual photo snapping (after 40 years of Nikons cracking my neck and shoulders), I aim to 'get in line' for you know what around the time of the 'anniversary' model.

PS: As I was typing this the 4 o'clock news on BBC Radio 4's lead headline was a 10-second sound clip of Jobs announcing the iPhone... I remembered it well!
I remember watching this in the office as soon as we could stream the keynote. Thinking the boss would be annoyed with us wasting time. Nope he was in there with us annoyed that there no talk of international distribution. It even went as far as making a mock-up model.

Such a great introduction. Yes, the line is fun-ish did it once for the 3G second day of release, couldn't get the day off for release day as other staff had put in their requests sooner.

I remember getting the original iPhone. My wife went to pick up the car from being serviced then to get me from the shops. Having her exclaim "I only left you alone for 10 minutes!"

Looking at the picture at the end of the article I think Apple should add dual front camera to top model to mine more from selfie madness because selfies with blurred background could be hit. Especially if they would be able to simulate real bokeh instead of simple blur.

I'm surprised you were able to get one in 10 minutes...a lot had to wait forever to get one.

And it's the last thing Apple has done to get me excited.
Care to tell us who’s products have gotten you excited lately? Exploding Galaxy’s were pretty exciting if you like pyrotechnics.

Looking at that first picture of Jobs holding the ting iPhone, and then the side by side to the 7 comparison, I'm reminded of how much I really miss how compact the iPhone used to be. I have an SE, but even that's too big for me. Man I loved that first iPhone, size shape and feel. The only imperfection was that plastic bit on the bottom backside.

This is a fine day to revisit John Dvorak's hilariously wrong analysis from that period:

Nonsense. Retina Macs, Apple Watch, new MacBook, AirPods are all new products that took years to develop.

But yeah, the Pro is behind. What will the complainers and haters talk about after it's refreshed or whatnot?

Well I'm betting any new Mac will be USB-C only so they'll have the dongle thing to bitch about next just like with the new MacBook Pro. I can see a new Mac Pro only have like 6 USB-C Thunderbolt 3 ports on it...maybe nothing else!

Walked into O2, The exclusive provider for the UK at launch and asked have you got one and had it in my hand very quickly. I can only assume they just had new stock delivered.  The only time i have had to wait was for the 4 but by then they had check for stock online, the quickest I've managed is approx 5 minutes from entering a store to leaving with a new phone :-)
