I´m rather offended for not being on that list. Whats a gang of superheroes without a eurocommie wizard speaking bad english?

ummm, a couple of years ago some friends started to call me "The Postscript Doctor". A while after that it was just "The Doctor".

I got so used to my nickname that I started to use it in a short version. doxx

Leonis is one of the characters in my comic story.

However I am now considering changing my user name.....since Leonis is no longer the most important character in my newly revised story.........

...'cause its my name. middle name to be exact, but i get called by it a lot. my parents couldn't decide to call me by my first name (quintana) or middle name when i was little, so they would use both. roo is more of a pet name now, as only friends and family use it.

I am simply stunned by all this commotion about names.

MANDO is the diminutive of Armando and LUX comes from my fascination with lighting (as in photography).

BTW, Lux means: The International System unit of illumination, equal to one lumen per square meter.

    murbot - great story <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laughing]" />

Sadly no, I am a Junior in State College High School. I will get to Penn State eventually and hopefully double major in Business Marketing and Information Sciences and Technology (IST). PSU is the leading IST school in the nation with a new $55 million building.

<a href="http://ist.psu.edu/building/index.cfm"; target="_blank">Look at the building and program info here, it's pretty amazing.</a>

    A video here <a href="http://ist.psu.edu/building/index.cfm##&quot; target="_blank">http://ist.psu.edu/building/index.cfm##&lt;/a&gt;

I am a chemical engineer. VanDeWaals forces are the weak attractive forces bewteen molecules caused by an induced dipole. Yes...way geeky...but I used it for my IM screen name..so it seemed logical to keep it when I registered here.

I was actually going to dream up a Murbot kinda story involving a Volkswagon bus and a freaky Dutch girl...

i tried to think up a good story, like mihr's, but i have not.

so, here's a half assed unfunny "story":

i wish i was a headlight on a northbound train. i'd shine my light in the cool, colorado rain... ALL penquins are waterbirds, but not ALL waterbirds are penquins: this is an intrinsic fact of life, which is intrinsic to the life it lives...

i'm a freak, odd in many was. and to differentiate me from the narly freaks, i'm the Freak. and since i hate speeling, and such, i changed "the" wiff "thuh". and, in conclusion, i am legally opposed to spaces in my nomer.

i've gone by other handles in my tenure as a geek. none were very funny tho. so i kept up wiff thuhFreak.

    -thuhFreak.

My hero is Michelangelo Buonarotti, renaissance artist, the greatest architect who ever lived. Calling myself "Michelangelo" seemed more pompous than deferential though. Given that and my low self-esteem, I've dubbed myself "BuonRotto" which literally means "well-broken" in Italian. (As a side story, Michelangelo had his nose broken in his early adolescence and it never set right again.) I'm not Italian in case you're thinking that. I did spend half a year in Rome during college though, but my Italian is rather poor at this point.

As another asde, I just sold my soul for a rare and very large folio of Michelangelo's architectural works. I can't wait to get it. I can't bear to look at my coming credit card bill though.

Well, the obvious part is, I hung around here reading a lot before ever making any posts.

Less obvious part is the initials, referring to the state of my location!
