Yea, it is. They don't have any *real* sources. Those PB messages from a "source" were from me . And I don't know shit really.

Just to clarify -- because people seem to have misunderstood my statement: I am a fan of Kormac. When I said that MOSR was sounding like Kormac, I was implying that they were taking up some of the ideas he imagined two years ago. I was crticizing MOSR, but not Kormac.

Sure, but I bet the entire board still visits it! Fanatics are funny that way -- they go to pages to get (knowingly) false information just to feed their addiction.

    Hey, I do it too.

They do make CDR/W drives small enough, some of Sonys digital cameras use them (ie <a href="http://212.250.57.233/pro_runproducts.asp?pid=790&ShowRange=Yes&Percenta ge=75&New=No&Cat=Digital+Still+Cameras&subCat=Mavi ca&Ire=&CatID=15" target="_blank">This one, the MVCCD300</a>). But why, and what for is another matter entirely.

i think what they were getting at is a f/w CD-RW ability so yo can encode mp3s directly to the hd.... not completly out of left field...

Why would Apple have to send SpyMac smokescreen videos of PDA's when they have MOSR??

If there's CD-RW on these things, what's to keep the RIAA jumping on Apple's collective a$$? I mean, the iPod then becomes a portable piracy machine!! (if I'm understanding this right)

have you ever wanted to steal music while you're on the road? tired of carrying that bulky computer just to steal music portably???

we've got the answer! it's a small, cd-rw drive with a firewire connection! now you can just carry this small cd-rw and the ipod wherever your stealing takes you! plug it in and you can steal a whole cd! don't waste your money on cds! let your friends waste THEIR money and then "borrow" his cd! This is a must! and it'll even fit in a christmas stocking! it's the perfect addition to your DIGITAL WORLD!!!

I figured as much, but it seems we're not allowed to even raise the point in cogent argumentation so I thought it better to focus on MOSR's general rumoring ineptitude than to speak of you know who's. Why is it that when I raise a point people instantly see it as confrontation?

    I felt that too, Escher.

I also had a kormac flashback when I read the yourdailymac.com analysis of the MOSR article - <a href="http://www.yourdailymac.com/mwtypred.html"; target="_blank">http://www.yourdailymac.com/mwtypred.html</a>; . The writer used terms like "Only his Steveness knows what we will see." which made me think of kormac's phraseology.

I still think kormac's best ideas were about the corporate restructuring that Apple would go through to focus on Home, Professional/Creative, and Business. It hasn't come to light yet, but there is movement in how the company is acquiring technology that may mean it should outgrow its current structure.
