Wouldn't have known from your info... I didn't know there was a place in Europe called "john." Unless you're, like, on the john or something. But there are johns all over the place. I mean, everybody's gotta poop.

How do you amend that anyway? Did a quick search ages ago and turned up nothing.

Honestly, there are more important things to worry about than the size of your CPU. If he gets his rocks off bragging about how his crappy Inspiron can beat up your PB, then he really doesn't sound like he's a friend worth keeping, IMHO.
If you really want to give him something to think about, download Apple's X11, Fink, and Fink Commander and show off some l337 Unix apps running on your system alongside native OS X aqua apps. Or show him how easy to use and master the iApps are.
When my new roommate just moved it. He asked me to help him to hook up his DVD system to the TV set. Actually, he missed the audio cable and started to read the manual. He then started to talk about computers, I told him I use Mac. He replied.. Mac sucks and the interface is just weird. Oh well... he asked me why I use Mac and going for a business major [since these two don't get along]. Meanwhile, there is no computer in his room and he keeps saying to buy one soon.
Last time, he knocked on my door and asked me to help him to complete his econ. assignment. (heck). He saw my old iMac Tangerine sitting on my desk and some Apple posters on the wall.. He started to shake his head. He said Apple notebook is fine [after saw my Lapzilla poster] but others are crap.
On the other hand, some people who just switched to the Mac kept asking to send them software (eg. Photoshop, Maya...etc) even OS X over the Internet. I turned them down anyway.
BTW, none of the poeple I know in the campus own a Mac. They always show-off how cool their systems are... WinXP, Neon ATX-case..
Anyone who gets into OS and computer fights should get their ass kicked.

I say, anyone who can't see how crapy Windows is compared to the Mac is just another sheep following sheep commanded by cheep. It therefore is indeed stupid to get into a fight with a such a moron. Really... Sounds like your friend is someone who can't think for himself and is therefor all confused not knowing who to believe.
I feel for such people. I know it's annoying and even depressing at times dealing with such people. Get use to it and don't blame yourself, there's a lot of them out there.
1) No, I don't think you are stupid for using Windows, I think you are stupid if you assert that Windows is better than the Mac OS.
2) No, I don't think you are a sheep if you use Windows. I think you are a sheep if you use Windows because "everyone uses Windows and it therefore must be better."

Ignore your goon friend and go on enjoying your Mac experience.

Sounds kinda like you...
I mean, who else posts their argument grilling a PC user about the shortfalls of their platform?

Well, Mac OS X is getting better on the gaming platform... Perhaps someday I'll have to get a PEE CEE...

PEE CEE? Interesting that there
is no equivalent in PC land.
EDIT: Oh, maybe Crapple.
