Need your guys help

Gretings all. new poster, but read here for years.

Anyhow. I would like your advice as to where is the best place online to buy a 12.1 PB G4 online.

My wife does work for a school, so would Apple just be the best?

    Definitely try ordering it from the school or something. Apple gives a fairly good edu discount, maybe a better one to faculty than to students (even though that doesn't totally make sense).

    Well with Max ram, airport, and a base station w/ modem. $2170. That sounds good to me. Just wondering if there was a better price for that same set up.

    That sounds pretty standard. Good thing you're not buying the RAM from Apple, they'd probably charge you something like $300 for it... 5x the market price.

    actually, as a side note, through our school Luca, the 512MB chip for the 12" PB is only $137.



    not bad at all. couldn't even beat that on pricewatch.com for namebrand RAM.

    Actually, the maximum increase in memory for the 12 inch is 340mb. and the cost is $143
