need help to install windows 7 on 2017 imac

i need to install windows 7 on my 2017 imac preferably in bootcamp but in a external drive should work.
i get the feeling its not supported officially but i only need to on the actual hardware long enough to establish some software entitlements before i upgrade to windows 10.
so before someone asks a VM will not work as its not the imac's real hardware.

bootcamp assistant ver. 6 wont let win7 install, only win10.

I have tried multiple usb installlers and none get seen by the iMac's boot selector when you hold option when booting (my 2012 rMBP can see some).

I've tried installing to a VM then cloning that vm to a external, it sees efi boot but wont attempt to load.
ive also tried win2go to install win7 on a external.

i was going to try a clean bootcamp with win 7 on my rMBP and before it finishes the install put the macbook in target disk mode so i could boot the iMac off the macbook's bootcamp partition temporarily, but it looks like you can only see mac volumes in target disk mode. 

anyway im out of ideas on how to accomplish this anyone available to help?

    Win 7 isn't supported at all on your 2017 iMac. Bootcamp support software for Win 7 doesn't exist for your model.

    Given that you have a MBP, one option might be installing Windows 7 there and clone the Bootcamp partition using Winclone:

    Then clone the image back onto the iMac's Bootcamp partition. I doubt it will work any better than the options you've already tried though.

    yes infact it doesnt support any kabylake based pc but that doesnt stop PC users from making it run if they try hard enough
    not supported doesnt mean wont work it means i cant runt to apple for a solution

    I know what you're talking about, but Kaby lake hacked support for Win 7 is godawful, and just as likely to corrupt what you're trying to do as it is to work -- on vanilla PC components. 

    Your iMac isn't a tower, with bog-standard components, I'm afraid. Without Apple's support, I suspect you're tilting at windmills.

    I don’t know anything about boot camp or iMac so all I can say is that Apple is not ment to do windows.

    What a bizarre post. Apple created Boot Camp with the express purpose of making Macs run Windows - and better than most Windows PCs, by all accounts over the past decade.

    windows 10 was beta for free released before dec 31 for those with windows 8.1...just dont tell them i told you
