    Wait, what's wrong with it? I go to the site and it seems to work fine.

    Yeah, there may be problems with Safari with their web site. Try this page...

    <a href="http://www.macromedia.com/software/"; target="_blank">http://www.macromedia.com/software/</a>;

    Layout was all wacked when I viewed it last week.

    They should have tested this whole site a lot better. And offered a better link to the HTML version.

    But judging it on Safari...a beta browser with what... 0.5% of the browser market is sorta stupid.

    But Macromedia is asking for feedback so give it to them...

    I went their last night and there was a thing that said safari is not supported or something like that. I think they are working on it cause it did nothing of the sort today.

    The most annoying thing is, even in IE it still doesn't work.

    It's got one of those "I know best, I'm a computer I don't make mistakes" detection pages which has NO override option and blocks me out of the forums because I apparently don't have the Flash 6 player. You would have thought that Macromedia would know how to detect their own plugins.

    In the mean time, does anyone here happen to be a Flash MX guru?

    Its the damn "sniffer" code. In the intro page file. I had that page come up too in Safari and got that requirements page. Then I clicked on the Macromedia logo on the top left of the requirements page and...bingo...I was in.

    Webmasters. Do all yourself a favor and stop using sniffer code. It's useless. I never use it. If the person doesn't have Flash it'll send them to a page to download it.

    it could be that flash and safari are still not playing with each other very well yet. it made me switch browsers to veiw the exchange site. the new site is pretty slow on slower machines. almost unbarable in certain sections like exchange. it's relatively snappy on the pc we have. i'll have to see what it's like on my mac at home.
