That Picture is just Wrong...

I'm talking about the one below. Gary Coleman and David Hasselhoff? Without any warning? Everytime I see it, I think, "that could scar a guy for life!"

So, in pursuit of the Great American Dream, I'll have to sue Appleinsider for mental trauma, etc. They have the "$" now, they're probably rolling in the Big Bucks.

er... warning... a Gary and Dave photo:

[edit: maybe you can pass the midi to TigerWoods. I hear he likes that kind of music.]

I'm ashamed to say I know this, but I believe the car is known as "Kit".

The only actor with better legs than Hasselhoff is Pierce Brosnan

you think that's bad, i am ashamed to know that you MISSPELLED the name -- it's actually K.I.T.T., the acronym for the "Knight Industries Two-Thousand" (back when the number 2000 sounded all cool and futuristic).

i don't know why people are ashamed to say they watched this show. i mean, EVERYONE watched the show when it was on, and you know you did. stop denying it. and you found yourself enjoying it (especially if you were a little kid like me in the fifth grade).

i've seen the preliminary screenshots of the Knight Rider PC video game coming up - kinda like Spy Hunter, but with more Hasselhoff for your hard-earned dollar.

Man, the muzac...the MUZAC! I was about to shoot out my Soundsticks with a .22 before I calmed down enough to press the Mute button on my keyboard. Man, are Pontiacs UGLY!

theres nothing wrong with a little midi tune now and then, and the knightrider theme just rocks. Although I am a big fan of old school video game songs

I wouldnt really call the firebird ugly, now it is, but not back then. I used to have one in high school that was just like K.I.T.T., with the hood bulge and trim, but it was white, and it didn't talk to me

"Turbo boost, Kitt! Gimmie all you've got!"

    "I don't think that's a good idea, Michael."

Those of us in our early thirties remember that show well....

    Cheers

The show was groundbreaking the first year. It was super-frikkin-futuristic, cool beyond cool. The music, the narrated introduction, everything. I mean, this guy was riding his car into the desert AT NIGHT!

I sure think it would be swell if there were a nice juicy little thing we could ALWAYS click on from the main forum page whenever we wanted to listen to the Knight Rider theme from anywhere in the world.....ahhhh, that would be nice...an AI Easter Egg page.

One other cool thing, the actor who did K.I.T.T.'s voice was the Doc in charge on St. Elsewhere, John whats-his-name I think. yeah, that's it....kellerman? Is that right? Too lazy to check.
