I know I should be working, but I dip into the Apple news every now and then, and a video-only articles mean I have to skip that post until lunch/get home, or get the gist of it from the comments.
Give is a transcript. The video is OK but I like to read.
Of course back it up first...
I gave the iPad2 to a family member. Even set it up for him. He says "iPads suck for web use." He refuses to use it. He instead uses a 2006 iMac (that too was a gift) running 10.6.xx."It works, and Apple is just trying to screw me out of more money for something new just because it is new." This is my fault.
My aunt got a nice new iMac for a good price. She calls me and says, "it doesn't work on gmail." I try to guide her through the steps, and say something like "click on the file menu in the upper left corner" and she'll say "upper left corner of what? I don't understand these technical terms." And of course, since I suggested she could communicate with the world via this box, this is all my fault.
General users have no tolerance for anything new.
2) Pro Tip: When you see that something is on YouTube don't watch it.
A lot of my media consumption is in bed, before going to sleep. Not being alone, I don’t watch videos there. I read.
I guess I need to find a third party podcast app. Not a huge deal, but unfortunate.
