Why don't you make all the smilies graphite to fit with the design? That could be cool.

I did a few just now, forgot to get mad, confused, chill, err, and hmmm.

One suggestion, BTW, how about making work with :/ and \, since that's a bit easier to type and it makes sense.

    But, yeah, whatcha think?

Here are a few others, since only 8 are allowed in each post.

[EDIT: Never mind, the tongue works]

    [EDIT2: Changed "thread" to "post"]

[EDIT3: Added second quotation mark on "post"]

Definately stick with the color ones. The Graphite doesn't look too good.

Anyone else wanna share their opinions?

That's too much graphite for me...

If you could just replace two smilies I'd be happy.

PS: Jonathan, I don't want to bitch but that anchor hack (-> redirect to the last page after posting) really needs to be installed. I offered to do it, if parallax hasn't time. You don't need deep Perl experience to install that hack.

This is a bad idea. You're reducing the contrast between the smilies and the background, and different smilies themselves.

    Cheers,

Yeah, I agree. It's really pissing me off now. Please have it done ASAP.

I like them, they're more subdued, and they all fit together. That tongue one is so cute with his little red tongue.

(Can I use them, MA? Please? )

I like the current ones though. BTW, I accidentally made the white parts gray as well

Here's an idea...What if er had a choice of smilies on the Post screen? i.e., keep the color ones and add the Graphite ones.

This could be implemented where you can turn off the smilies, like this:

    ------------------------------------

    O No Smilies......0 Colored Smilies.......0 Graphite Smilies

    ------------------------------------

    (The O's are Radio Buttons)
