It’s a bit of a wasted effort, this article. Instead of a “why I will defend iPhone at whatever cost” approach, I would have appreciated an honest review where both phones got applauded and criticized equally.
Why convince Apple authusiasts of how great the iPhone is? They already know.
You’re confused, DED doesn’t write product reviews, he’s an opinion columnist.
Did this article headline say it was an opinion piece?

Without even reading I can guess what this article is about: why iPhone is better than Pixel.
    You lost bro?
Nope. Just not that insecure about the Apple products I own that I need to write long, rambling articles trashing competing products. If the Pixel isn’t all that and why are AI writers so obsessed with writing about it? Like I said I doubt the average consumer even knows the phone exists.
Is it really so difficult for you to understand why publications write articles and editorials? Perhaps you’ve never read a newspaper or visited a sports website, but I assure you it’s very normal for writer to write articles, including opinion pieces. That youre butthurt about them doing so indicates a fundamental misunderstanding of how publications operate.
Typically newspaper editorials and op-ed’s are labeled as such. Where does it say this article is an opinion piece?

In Apple Stores all iPhones are turned on and in a fully usable state not some marketing state. You are free to play them without any employee to come to bother you. Which Android makers can meet this standard?

The experience isn't exactly the same as in Apple retail stores because you don't have as many phones available nor specialist staff (at least not at every location). Many are stores-in-stores like Apple has in some places.

The strong point is that there are literally thousands of them and all the phones are usable. On top of that you have carrier outlets where you can also use the phones.

In addition to all that Huawei has (and is opening more) of its own retail outlets plus street level service centres in major cities where you get direct contact with the brand which, IMO, is one of Apple Retail's strongest points.

Samsung has basically the same set-up.
This is another one of fake news from the link.  It does not show a picture of what the stores really look like.

I thought the onus was on having access to the phones and being able to try them without store assistants hassling you, not how they looked. But anyway, in addition to Gatorguy's link:

I've been just a tad surprised (and impressed!) that so few people seem to have any interest in his opinions recently, with a relatively non-existent "one-post Android troll" response to anything he's had to say in his most recent articles despite a small number of posters  "with popcorn at the ready" thinking the internet is going to break because of a DED opinion piece.  Certainly a change in reaction from a couple years ago.

Maybe, just maybe everyone is gradually catching on to the over-the-top baiting type articles on assorted fan blogs and seeing them for what they really are. That would be a great thing. All the insulting and name-calling, unabashed FUDdery and general disrespect "just because" destroys so many discussion threads where we could have learned (more) stuff we didn't know if not for trollish behavior encouraged and driven by some writing styles.

    I can be hopeful.

Maybe, just maybe, all the 12 year old Android trolls grew up and stopped bothering to come by?

Could be. Maybe all the trolls, no matter their device of choice,  are slowly growing up.  Like I said I can hope.

I, for one, am very, very disappointed you are not taking the bait off-late!

Or maybe folk calling out the trolls as soon as they land has discouraged them from taking root.

Nothing there has ever changed AFAICT. The most vociferous Apple fans here have always shown their best side with new members who don't agree with them. Trolling the trolls is the same as it ever was.

This article is Gimmick. Speak for yourself apple guy. I had this crappy iphone 6s plus since 2015 everytime there’s new iphone comes out and they update it and all the sudden make all iphones lag and wont function normally. Lets get back to the topic, everyone knows this pixel phones Camera brings more detail vs the iphone brands that gives you washed out photos. Now you tell me how could you lie with your own eyes  and couldnt tell the difference at all ? Its like Hillary vs Trump here  Hillary talks smoothly like an angel but deep inside Its a devil in disguise.  Take that sheeeeit  :)   Biased
