That was easier than expected, the usual two mins late scenario, but no issues ordering in the UK.

Please tell me I’m not the only one for whom the Apple store is not yet open.
Use the Apple Store iOS App, the website never open on time.

Not selling as fast as I thought they would. It was tougher to get the iPhone 7 Plus in Jet Black.

EDIT: Now showing 2-3 weeks as of 12:12am.

Hmm, I set up the Apple Store app as described in the AI article earlier today, but at 10 minutes after, it's still showing the "coming soon" message. After a few minutes of that, I went to the website and breezed right through the ordering process and now I'm scheduled for a Nov. 3 delivery. (Space Gray, 256 GB) Yay!

Using the Apple Store app, once it came up at about 3:04 for me, it took less than 1 minute to place my order. Delivery on 11/3, 256 Space Gray.

Edit: servers must be getting hammered. Even the app is slow to load for me at 3:14 and I keep getting errors asking me to try again later.

Edit 2: the confirmation email arrived about 10 minutes after placing my order.

Not sure why you say that. I didn’t get in until about 10 mins. I had pre-registered for the upgrade program and I was trying to log in with both my iPad and iPhone. It would only allow me to upgrade on the iPhone even though I got in earlier with the iPad.

Ordering a Space Gray 256 from TMobile and there was no pickup, only 2-3 week delivery.

Store app was online at 3:03 Eastern on my iPad.  Got a silver 64 with Nov. 3rd delivery in Canada.  Some were even available to reserve for in store pickup.  By 3:08, has slipped to 2-3 weeks.

Store was not available until 3:10 on my iPhone (on same wifi).  Their system is weird in that way.

This does seem a bit easier to get that the Jet Black 7 Plus , which sold out in seconds last year.  I ended up waiting a few weeks for a 128 GB jet black Plus preordered at 3:04 last year (I just found that confirmation in my inbox)

Email confirmation came in at 3:04 on my iCloud account.

It was still showing 11/3 delivery almost 10 minutes past midnight for me. The Jet Black iPhone was gone in like 2 minutes. The carriers went live before 12am.

Store just came up in the UK for me. Price matches dollars, unsurprisingly.

Is there any way to order an unlocked iPhone X that is unattached to my wireless account? The only options I see are to pay in full, but with it activated out of the box for your wireless number.

Site is up, Apple Store App is still showing "check back soon" and preorders started 8 minutes ago... Sheesh.
I entered my Serial Number and IMEI into the web site and it tells me I'm ready to preorder. It says all I have to do is launch the Apple Store App on my phone... except the app keeps showing me "check back soon."

Ten minutes after preorder started, it let me into "Continue", then displays "An error occurred trying to fulfill your request." Over and over.

Keep trying. Within 2 minutes, I was able to get past the prompts to finalize my order and boom. It's done. Delivers Nov 17.

BTW, the app is displaying errors left and right, but I'm sure it's the back-end Store servers that are throwing back errors.

I got a reservation number with a 11/3 ship date. But apple.com couldn't connect to ATT so they have to send a link? Never heard of this.
    • When we’re able to reach the carrier systems, we will email you at xxxxxxx@mac.com.
    • The email will include instructions to complete your order as well as the return link.
    • You will have 24 hours from the time the email is sent to return to the Apple Online store to proceed with your order. If you do not complete your purchase within 24 hours, your reservation will be canceled.

(3:13AM) Got in via web. Neither iPad nor iPhone Store open yet for me. 2-3 week wait for Silver 256GB. Apple can't reach ATT to confirm eligibility, but will send me an email within 24hours. :-/

(3:24AM) Neither the iPad nor iPhone Store open. This has not happened before (for me)...

(3:29AM) iPad Store finally open. 256 Silver still showing 2-3 weeks. Hopefully y ATT eligibility confirmation email from Apple is on its way.

It does for me but it took several tries. It kept saying I had no recent orders and then kept erroring. After refreshing it for a few minutes my order was showing.
