Seriously, Bourdieu critiqued social structures and in particular the transmission of class via education. I'm somewhat entertained that his "critiques" is now a part of that mechanism for cultural transmission.*

In many oral exams, they let you study the subject in advance (for me it was 30 minutes) in order to let you prepare your answers. BTW no documents where allowed.
But there is also different exams where documents are allowed. The rules change from an exam to another.

It always reminds me of "1984" when the inner party member tells Winston Smith how the party is fooling the people while still deep inside believing in the party himself. But of course we always find comfort in him when things aren´t going our way. Its just us working class kids who don´t know the code of the academic world
