The staff should stop insulting the membership

Just a suggestion.



I've noticed several insults from admins or mods toward the membership recently.



During the maintenance just now, the front page said something like: "To prepare for you idiots."



At the top of future hardware, there is currently a snide comment about where to post threads.



Someone needs to control himself. There are plenty of morons here. Being anonymous makes it easy. But don't go down to their level.



That sort of thing will just make the morons worse and the non-morons not want to come back.



Again, just a suggestion.

    Well i just read it , and i take it for what it supposed to be : a joke.

    Perhaps it was not the joke of the year, but nothing very important indeed.

    I don't think people should go around calling other people idiots. First off I've seen my son say some mean things to others on here and I hate to think he's picking up bad habits around here.



    Hopefully powerdoc is right and it was a joke, though.

    It takes more than a few letters to be mean to another person so I very much doubt that EmAn has been rude to anyone here.

    The way BRussell phrased the topic sentence makes it sound like a common thing.

    I´m with the Rat on this. FH is becoming further and further away from reason (strangely enough with the last few weeks as the exception)



    One could hope that the most "out there" FH people would start insulting the mods. Too many flower in the garden. We need to thin out

    Bullsh!t. I've seen insults from mods in other forums besides future hardware.

    That's all fun and dandy for the mods to be assholes when they want to be and pawn it off as just "jokes."

    But then you have mods sending private messages about "rereading the rules" of the forum, and how being insulting is not allowed and how "a warning" has been issued.

    I've been at this board for quite some time, and I can say that the moderation at this board now, sure shows no intent on using a "modicum of good taste."

    OK I'm lightening up.



    I've had a bad week. I got pulled over by a cop Monday and bitten by a dog on my bike on Tuesday. Then to top it off, the admins at AI are crabby.



    I mean really, how much can one guy take?

    If you don't have thick skin you shouldn't be posting in forums anyways. Since we all have different opinions on just about every subject that hits this forum. You have to expect to get slammed once and awhile.



    It's not like anyone's directly calling you an idiot anyways, and if you feel that way. Then maybe it's time to look in the mirror, and you just may see an idiot looking back at you.
