Apple issues third developer betas of iOS 11.2.5, watchOS 4.2.2, tvOS 11.2.5, and High Sie...

After a two-week holiday break with no releases, registered members of Apple's developer program can now access the third pre-release beta builds of all four of the company's major platforms.

Given that the updates are "sub-point" releases, it is unlikely that major new features are coming to the updates. Apple usually keeps small version increments limited to bug fixes and small tweaks.

The release notes remain sparse, and contain no declared foci for testing. The build numbers for the releases themselves have about the same increment in digits between the second and third releases as there was between the first and second, suggesting release is not imminent.

The new versions are all available to download through Apple's developer portal. Public beta builds should be forthcoming as well.

I must have missed something.. I have  iOS 11.2.1 on my iDevices now and we are at beta 11.2.5.  What happened to 11.2.2 through 11.2.4?

I used to a "beta guy" but they were coming to fast and furious so I opted out a few weeks ago and now  I'm enjoying the peace and quiet.

Never been a beta guy, too much important stuff on my iMac to be futzing around with beta releases. When the official release happens I wait a few days to see if there are any showstoppers.

Same here, though I jumped ship much earlier. When the public release gets here, it gets here. I do like reading about the progress of betas from time to time, to see if there's anything new and cool on its way.
