One day after the Las Vegas Consumer Electronics Show saw some exhibits close because of rain, a blackout has plagued the expo center and has run for an hour, and counting.

Wednesday's blackout hit the center at approximately 11:50 Pacific time. The show's official Twitter account calls it an "isolated power outage" at the center.

While we work through this isolated power outage feel free to visit our exhibitors in South Hall and North Hall. Also get outside on this beautiful Las Vegas day and check out Central and South Plaza. #CES2018

More recently, Nevada Power reported to the group, saying that the outage has been addressed, and they are in the process of restoring power.

We've been informed by Nevada Power that the outage has been addressed and they are in the process of restoring power. We will continue to restrict access until full power has been restored. Thank you for your continued patience. We encourage you to visit other open show areas

On Tuesday, heavy rains forced the closure of some exhibits outside the hall. Most notably, the Google exhibit was shuttered for most of the day because of the rain and flooding.

At 1:10 p.m. Pacific time, the lights in the convention center started to come back on. However, many of the attendees had been scooped up by buses from other venues around the city not directly related to the expo.

So much for the electronics show that cannot even withstand and slight rain and they expect us to buy and use their crappy stuff.

Danny Ocean set this in motion so that they can steal a gigantic OLED screen for their hangout.

Shame. It's not like there's anything else to do in Vegas. Must have been very disappointing for the attendees.
