AAAGGGHH! SOMEONE PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME!

Yes it's me again, first I was Andrew Xt, then I was iAmTheSquidThing.



But EVERY time I do ANYTHING to my profile SOMETHING goes wrong and I end up PERMANENTLY blocked out of my account.



Now i've got three accounts.



Andrew Xt with the email: squidthing@xfluida.net



iAmTheSquidThing with the email: squid-thing@xfluida.net



and this one with the email: andrew@the-brices.demon.co.uk



I have tried getting my password emailed to me and it always tells me it has sent it but I never get it!



I want to:



- delete this account completely



- Get Andrew Xt back, change the email address and then get rid of it.



- And get back iAmTheSquidThing



Everything's going horribly wrong.



my emails to the sysadmin address just get returned - Moderators Please help me!

    Have you tried sending PM to Brad ? He sorted my probs out quickly.

    By the book, you are only supposed to have *one* account here. So, which would you prefer I check on? Andrew Xt or iAmTheSquidThing?

    It depends what will happen that to account's posts if you delete it. Will they all dissapear or something?



    If you can't delete Andrew Xt then I'd like to change the email address in its profile because it's hogging the one I want to use for iAmTheSquidThing, then I can log back in to iAmTheSquidThing, change what I originally wanted to change in my profile and forget about the other two accounts.



    Sorry about the multiple accounts things, but it's the only way I could get a message to these forums to get help.

    Just tell me which account you want reset the e-mail with and send you a password for. The other won't be deleted; it'll just remain inactive as it is now.

    What? I'm not addicted or anything, it's just annoying when. you have loads of questions and no one you can ask..



    The problem is, I don't want it to remain inactive becuase it's using the email address I want for iAmTheSquidThing.



    I want iAmTheSquidThing back, but first I need to log into Andrew Xt to change It's email address, then I will never need it again - then it can be left inactive.



    So i want the email address in iAmTheSquidThing to be set to squidthing@the-brices.demon.co.uk, and the email address in Andrew Xt to be set to anything as long as it isn't squidthing@the-brices.demon.co.uk (which it is now)



    But if you can't reset both accounts then i'll have iAmTheSquidThing back and I'll just have to live with the different email address.

    If you have questions that need to be answered why don't you ask them under this name? It doesn't take a genius to realize you could ask questions under this name.

    Very true, I hadn't thought of that, and thanks people, but guess what, once again when presented with the simplest task I have become a complete digital cluts...



    Sorry for being impatient (I forget about time differences and that I'm probably posting in the middle of the night, and that you have to deal with a hell of a lot of other problems as well) and sorry for shouting (no excuse for that) yes, you're right I am obviously an asshat (whatever that is) and that would explain why for some strange and unknown reason I asked you to reset my email address to squidthing@the-brices.demon.co.uk, when this address doesn't actually exist, what I meant to say was squidthing@xfluida.net, but this was my original problem, I can't use this email address becuase my Andrew Xt account is using it.



    Please could you reset Andrew Xt's email address to whatever you want and then iAmTheSquidThing's email address to squidthing@xfluida.net.



    Thank you for putting up with my endless stream of stupid mistakes. But also I think there are either bugs in this website's coding, or a strange problem with my server, as I never receive any automated emails giving me a new password when I change my email address.
