I would like to see the larger screens across the board (Studio, PowerBook and iBook) and migrate the iBook to the G4 processor.
This bullshit Apple's spewing about no new Macs at MTW is annoying, if true. It would be a *major* mistake for them not to use this opportunity and update the PowerBook line with a higher resolution screen. That would be least they could do.
The Titanium laptop needs a lot of help. It's hot, less endowed to the competition, and need of some "tweaks," that fix inherent design drawbacks and flaws.

2. Better graphics capabilities (32 MB or better)
3. Improved battery performance (maybe the same type of battery as is in the iPod)
4. More ergonomically sturdy. The damn thing is designed to be ultra thin, but it's also ultra fragile-feeling)

and since apple isn't getting much money off the imac this quarter since they can't ship much, it would be wise to try to raise the sales of the other machines they sell. a powerbook and ibook update would be great.
but apple has said they aren't going stuff, so we'll have to wait.
Having just returned from the Apple Store in Glendale today (again) I have to say that I disagree with what I've been hearing about the Powerbook's fragility.
It is truly a solid piece of equipment. The screen moves smoothly, doesn't bend, I didn't sense and reason to adjust it with 2 hands at all, and there were no "waterpuddles" on the screen when I did use only one hand.
I used the machine for a good hour (they don't kick you off a machine at the Apple Store) and walked away feeling that it was a truly perfect laptop. Smaller (really) than the 14.1 inch iBook, lighter than the 12.1 inch iBook, and wonderful to hold in my hands. (I never even got an off-look even though I closed it just to pick it up probably 20-30 times.)
Needless to say, that computer is MINE as soon as I re-save about $3500.

PS - Apple, please give me 800 mHz and cool it down a bit. Even the Apple Store employee frowned and told me that the fan is too loud when the machine first starts up and when it comes on during use.
Due to a bad economic climate and bad market reception, the next PowerBook revision will fly South for the winter under a hail of flaming Black Bricks and buzzing Yo-Yo power adapters.
At least that's what my gut tells me. You don't want to know what's going on inside my head...
That's pretty obvious - since they're portables, they'll go whatever direction their owners carry them! <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laughing]" />

Powerbook-Same design as old TiBook but NO Titanium enclosure. Better screen res, superdrive,faster G4, by 2004 a G5.
iBook-Thinner! Add a G4, Superdrive option and a 13'' screen with a good res and high pixel density...like Florida.
