Where does he explain the removal of headphone jack from the company's best-selling MUSIC PLAYERS (the iPhone)?

Because when you're trying to sell services, what you want to do is make it HARDER for people to consume them.

Just grow a nut and fire Jony Ive. The guy's a pompous hack with no progressive ideas; he's the Trump of product design, tearing down the achievements of talented people that came before him and replacing them with... nothing good.
You mean the iPhones that come with headphones that work just fine? Yeah, really difficult to use.

And yes, fire the guy who has supervised the design of the most successful products in the world to make Apple the most successful company in the world. Total hack, that guy! ¯\(°_o)/¯

You’re still upset about the removal of 19th century tech from a 21st century device? Really?

Yeah right. I watched garbage like Bright on Amazon, then I watch high-quality shows like Bosch on Amazon.

Netflix and Amazon are pretty much neck-and-neck.
Except Netflix has vastly more content

Please explain how providing headphones that work without the headphone jack  in the box with every music player (iPhone), as well as providing an adapter with the same music player (iPhone) that allows you to use legacy headphones is making it harder for people to consume services as you put it ?  It sounds like you don’t like Jony for whatever reason and are using the headphone jack as a way to bash him and his designs.

You can't compare the 8 year start of Spotify vs Apple, because the streaming market wasn't near what it is today 8 years ago. Spotify did all the hard legwork, Apple jumped in once the market was ready and really didn't have to do all that much work to compete.
It’s disingenuous, but not for the reason you mention:

MOG started a subscription music service in 2009 that was bought by Beats in 2012 and turned into Beats Music, which became Apple Music when Beats was sold.

Apple Music’s service has been around since 2009.

Regardless, Apple's paid subscriber base is growing at a rate of 5% per month while Spotify is growing at just 2% per month. Apple is also projected to overtake Spotify in the US this summer. If Apple ties in their upcoming video business with Music sometime next year, that would only help accelerate Apple's growth in this market.
