    I assume it's a varient spelling or misspelling of the Spanish word chicas, meaning girls, to refer to the adult women presenting today.

    Developer-centric presentation I guess... but I didn't really see a load of new things for developers, TBH.

    They have 4 OSes with 3rd-patty app capabilities now so getting into the nitty-gritty for all the various changes for developers during the keynote isn't feasible. This is why they have State of the Union specifically for developers (and people like me) and then all those all those workshops over the rest of the week.
