Androidians don’t pay for apps... or anything. They’re price-driven skinflints. The same kind of people who buy custom-built PC’s instead of Macs because it’ll save them $10 in the short-term, but will cost them countless hours of lost productivity over the course of ownership.

This is so untrue i dont know how much money apple is giving appleinsider to spread this false informatoin. iPhoneXR is a total failure and so are the other recent iphone models. apple is trying to sell XR at a steep discount at $449 but still no takers. Apple lied about the notch by shady marketing and now world is realizing how it is ripping them off by inferior designed phones with less features than other phones in the market. https://puddl.in/new-lawsuit-claims-apple-lied-about-its-screen-size-and-hid-notch-with-shady-marketing/

Looking at the full last 12 months though, none of the new models have yet reached the same market share the three iPhones launched last year achieved by December 2017. Loosely supporting the notion the 2018 lineup is underperforming.

This data is percentage of installed base of iPhones? “Adoption” is a vague term, and the percentages do not look like share of new phone sales nor do they look like the relative share of iPhone models through time (can’t see how those trends support the reported ASPs), and definitely look like the share of the installed base type of trends.

If so, then new models could have lower and lower share of the installed base even if they sold more units per year because the installed base is growing. The only way new models could have higher share of the installed base is for people to trash their phones and buy new phones on a yearly or 2-year basis, a lot switching to a different brand, whatever way to have the installed base shrink or be flat; or, new model sales grow faster than the installed base. None of those are true, and would require some rather serious evidence for belief.

I don't even know where to start. Typical one-post troll. The reason population control is a good idea.

First, Apple doesn't pay for propaganda unlike android manufacturers. Second, this isn't "false". It's a fact according to the report made. Third, the source isn't AppleInsider o the only one spreading "false information" is you. Fourth, this isn't an official report. Fifth, you have no idea how many iPhones have been sold. Sixth, You don't know if people are buying XR at $449 or not. Seventh, it's not a discount, it's a trade-in program like every year. Eighth, you're as dumb as the people trying to sue Apple. Ninth, you write as if 0 iPhone XRs have been sold.

    Tenth, Eleventh, Twelfth etc......
