Apple's latest ad uses human 'flood' to sell iPhone XR colors

    The ad held my interest and is fine. The fact that we are talking about it means it did its job. That the usual chorus of armchair marketing experts don’t like it is completely irrelevant in the real world. You guys would find issues with a free bag of cash on your doorstep. (“The denominations could have been better...”)
    If Apple stamped their logo on a piece of dog crap - you would say the exact same thing. 
    This ad is a piece of dog crap.

    It was so... um, gay!
    No it was a stupid “straight” ad.   Music was boring almost dreary.   Colors too muted.

    And why didn’t they show the Xr in all the different colors?

    I’m generally a fan of Apple’s ads, but this one is just weird.

    Some very creative ideas, but aside from the great choreography, other aspects of the execution are simply wrong: muted colors, dreary music (in a minor key - feels negative) not in sync with exuberant idea, mobs resembling lemmings, jump-suits look like these are institutionalized people, depressing background environments (meant to contrast with clothes, but the net effect is negative).
