haha wtf are you talking about, we rn't doing a race war, its about the safety of everyone...some forsight now is better then later when many are killed
I wouldn't fight for a leader or a government, but I would absolutely fight and, if need be, die for liberty. It is a testament to the strength of the US that we have held onto as much liberty as we have in spite of our politicians chipping away at it -- and our citizens willingly giving it up. If that were threatened, no one could keep me from doing everything in my meager power to preserve it.
Now it just so happens that at the relatively ripe age of 29, and never much of an athelete anyway, I would be of little value as a soldier. But I would readily give up my well-paying software architecture position to help with our armed forces' infrastructure and computer systems, even if it meant being stationed at a likely military target.
There are a precious few things in this world worth dying for. Far too many people omit "freedom" from their list.
well the american goverment is for freedom so i would support it, people complain about laws but there have to be some so there isn't anarchy
liberty/freedom is something most people take for granted because you have always had it, it seems iraqi's will enjoy it and are happy we are liberating them
If I were an Iraqi right now? I would do what it seems like the vast majority of them are doing. Get the hell out of the cities and try to survive and see what happens.
Would I fight a force I knew I couldn't defeat? Well it depends on how horrible I thought that force was.
It's an impossible question with too many variables.
Good answer Groverat,
It will be even more difficult to answer, if we had recieved their propaganda and their culture.
I wanted to bring that up sometime, being a united species.
And a clear word DOWN to ast3r3x. The point clearly made is that he would not fight for a group under a political boundary or ideology.
It is not his fault that he was born into our time, none of us should have the obligation to fight for what we have here, truely meaningless divisions.
Speaking of being one "race" that would be a great foreign policy.

'word DOWN' to you f***er. You ungreatful b@$***. You are happy and fine as long as you have freedom to do what you want, but you will not fight for others who do not have it. Everyone deserves opportunities and freedom that the US has...the US constitution was founded on the idea that all men and women are created equal and deserve life, liberty, and the persuit of happiness. Great if he doesn't want to fight for others to be as happy as he is then thats great.
I understand not wanting to fight, and it is unfortunate there are people and regimes that create the need, but because there are people and things like that i am not going to create an exscuse for not helping people be free.
in short, i'm saying why wouldn't you want to help to give liberty and the persuit of happiness to people

Peace, man.
Humans are one race.
the HEAD it can produce...
Peace, is the space in between wars.
Humans are one not one race. We are each unique.

if u think that then why shoudl some deserve freedom and some not?
'word DOWN' to you f***er. You ungreatful b@$***.
Not going to play that game. If you're going to subject me to senseless abuse then you needn't reply ever again.
You are happy and fine as long as you have freedom to do what you want, but you will not fight for others who do not have it
Incorrect. Get your assertions clear before you blast, buster.
haha wtf are you talking about
I was reacting to this. You are defaming a very positive vision and I was defending "the persons" right to not participate in the US world vision.
Everyone deserves opportunities and freedom that the US has...
More I think. Gun ownership is oppression.
Great if he doesn't want to fight for others to be as happy as he is then thats great.
Ideal idea in the event of an ideal situation.
i am not going to create an exscuse for not helping people be free.
Neither am I.

Don't know.
You attacked me on the grounds that I attacked you on the grounds that I didn't want to fight for freedom.
I reacted to you on the grounds that you so crassly dissed the "human is one race" was a good thing.
Again it was in ideal for an ideal world and a different viewpoint on being alive and being "in" somewhere and "beleiving" in something.
...give or take some other words
Feel free to cut out the other words.
I'm not going to accept crap like that in the future.
