here i go... i doodled another "ipod-like" wireless pda, phone, etc.
hello!
while listeing to "when i'm sixty-four" i thought it would be convenient to have a ipod-like device that dubs as pda, mp3 player, phone, etc., and has wireless capability. so i can keep this device in my bag or pocket and listen to music on wireless headphone (collaborated with bang & olufsen)..... and since we are talking about a hypothetical device, why not have a watch (as an add on accessory) that is like the dial on ipod and can control my ipod-like device in my bag wirelesslely. so when phone rings, i just press the button on my wrist watch and say "hello?" now.. wouldn't this be a dream come true for me...... "look mom! no hands!!!!"
i remember having a wireless walkman many many years ago..... where is that walkman???

NTT DOCOMO's is a different concept than yours, but I like the really radical interface ideas they're coming up with - tapping your fingers together...
Oh, and it is definately about time for an Apple - B&O collaboration!! I still wouldn't be able to afford it, but I'd drool over it even more!

I suggest you stop doodling and go to art class!!
Take it for what it is and expand upon it - you don't like the drawing, then say why and maybe submit something of your own. It's not about artistic talent, but creative thinking.

<strong>Guys, cut Proto some slack. I've no objection at all to a little bit of creativity being posted here - it can start discussions and speculations. It's also a helluva lot less depressing than everyone and their sister bickering about the bloody G5 and when it's gonna come out and how much it's gonna kick ass or not!

I won't be as harsh as whomever said "go to an art class," but you definitely need to spend more time both researching a new idea, and actually working on a drawing of it. There have been quite a few hand-drawn mockups around AI in the years of its existance, as well... it's not like you're the first, or the best. But at least there's room for improvement, right?
Maybe you could start a thread about hand-drawn doodles, instead of posting a new thread about each little drawing you make, okay?

No need to get vulgar about this. I never said it didn't interest me. I wasn't "arguing" about anything, either--it's called constructive criticism. If he didn't want his "doodle" to get discussed, why did he post it on a discussion board, hmm? I don't think anyone needs your little defending act.
well... that is why i always write something as idiotic sounding as "i doodled...etc" on the subject line. there are many people on here that people might not remember each members' names, but if you read something like "i doodled...." that is easy to recognize. and if you find it intriguing, you can take a look at it, or if you remember being garbage, you don't have to. i was just excited i found these sort of forums where i, and everybody, can acutally post something for others to see and discuss. one instance, these guys really liked my powermac drawing and made it into a computerized drawing. things like that is very exciting. and as i am not a technical person, someone might tell me why it would or would not work. my intention is good... and as these drawings, somehow take longer than they look... constructive criticism(s) i prefer, but i guess you can't avoid idiotic ones as well... life is "high school" all over again... :-)

vertu is beautiful in person. it's just how little details like buttons, etc. are made make them so special. it is not for everybody...
anyway, when i first doodled a simple "pda" in janauary, i thought it would be great to be able to engrave names on it... and it's so nice that now it is possible on ipod.... well.. i was hoping the price would remain 399, but oh well.... 10gb? who can complaint... time to buy one..... :-)
