This explains my sexual obsession with Mario on Mario Kart.

perhaps we can join forces and make this a class action lawsuit

He just needs his firmware rebooted.
Better yet, a boot in his firmware. And if it's currently software, he can just use a couple of his coins, it'll turn firmware again.

I own a few different crypto coins, but not any gay coins. I am straight after all, and also a lifelong Apple user.

So this Russian wackjob turned gay and prostituted himself for the grand total of $1.33?

I just checked the price of 69 gay coins (GAY), and the total comes out to $1.33.

You can't watch a show these days without 1 or more characters being homosexual, despite the fact that only 4.5% of the US population identifies as LGBT.  If it can be argued that media we consume influences us (and it does as per the use of Advertising during shows), then seeing more people smoke on TV can cause some who otherwise wouldn't to smoke, and the same goes for eating beef, going sky diving, trying out some sexual thing you'd never tried before, etc.  The same is true of Apps, although such has little to do with Apple other than the fact Apple approved the apps for sale.

All said, just because you've never tried something before (e.g., taking hard core drugs, beating yourself in the head, dying, etc.) doesn't mean you cannot judge and/or be decidedly against a given thing only because you've never tried it.  We need to tackle that faulty thinking straight away!

"According to the complaint, a copy of which was seen by AFP, the man ordered an unspecified amount of Bitcoin this summer through a smartphone app, but received 69 so-called "GayCoins" instead. A note attached to the cryptocurrency read, "Don't judge until you try," which the man did, according to the filing.

"I thought, in truth, how can I judge something without trying? I decided to try same-sex relationships," the plaintiff wrote in the complaint. "Now I have a boyfriend and I do not know how to explain this to my parents [ ] my life has been changed for the worse and will never become normal again."

WTF?? It's like AppleInsider accidentally published an Onion article.

Will save this article for iKnockoff morons who claim all Apple lawsuits are legit.

Well... if a piece of software and virtual currency can turn him gay, thank goodness he hasn't yet discovered porn.

    It was the hardware.

Reminds me of the time when we were working on a database-based application and the client was having some issues running the latest version of the app with their database. The client then asked us if our front-end would work with their backend.

We wisely avoided that and fixed their front-end!
