iBook dsl

I'm having problems with my iBook 500 Dual USB and my DSL. Every once in a while (lately) my PPoE connection will disconnect, and the Internet connect warning pops ups and tells me its because of lack of communication from the opposite end of sumthin. Its not checked to disconnect, so whats the problem?

Can anyone help me?

    sure, we'll need to know what OS your using, hardware you might be using (like router brand etc), and the exact error message if you can.

    I've heard this is a bug with 10.2.4.

    I have 10.2.4 and I have never had this issue. I have EarthLink DSL using a Efficient Speedstream 5630 Modem. Actually, I haven't had any (knock on wood) of the problems people have been ascribing to 10.2.4 (shrug).
