Before the virtual 2021 CES starts, Satechi has announced four new Apple-specific aluminum keyboards as well as a new sleek iPad stand.

Among the new releases are the Slim X1 and Slim X3 keyboards. These new aluminum keyboards come in both wired and Bluetooth wireless flavors to complement your workflow. These two keyboards are very similar to one another with the biggest difference being the lack of numberpad on the X1.

All wired and wireless versions of these keyboards sport a full row of function keys for Apple functions including volume, spotlight, media controls, and keyboard backlight brightness. The wired models have integrated USB-C cables and the wireless versions have USB-C ports for charging.

Both Bluetooth versions of the Slim X1 and Slim X3 include multi-device support where users can jump between up to three devices with the press of a key. Go between your desktop, MacBook, and iPad with ease.

The compact X1 is perfect for a smaller desk while working from home or when working on the go with your iPad.

These new sleek aluminum keyboards with backlit keys, function hotkeys, and USB-C offer cheaper alternatives to Apple's own Bluetooth keyboards.

Alongside the keyboards, Satechi is also updating its aluminum iPad stand. This new model features a streamlined new design. It has hinges with wide viewing angles and can fold entirely flat for travel. It is similar to the Apple-exclusive model that recently launched.

    The X1 is very close ... but not quite what I'd consider my perfect wireless keyboard. I'm really looking for a tenkeyless (TKL) or 80% version of Apple's full sized wireless keyboard, which would include the extra navigation keys and full sized arrow keys but omits the numeric keypad. I looked at Satechi's product offerings and they do offer a mid sized keyboard, but curiously omit the middle cluster of keys and include the numeric keyboard (accountant/bookkeeper keys). If anyone knows of a TKL equivalent to Apple's wireless keyboard, please post a link.

    Check out Otherworld computing - they have some TKL keyboards that probably fit your needs. (https://eshop.macsales.com/shop/accessories/keyboards)

    I switched to a s/h older Mac wired keyboard. The benefit is that it has two USB ports built in, very useful in This era of few built in ports. I see one of the ten keyless options would be even better. A great find, thanks @MplsP ;
