that iMac of his will probably last a while as i hear he never gets to use it....his eldest daughter has locked out all web access except to pbs.com and guards that computer like cerberos...bot is forced to play x-box hockey and drink heavily while weeping when he thinks longingly of his poor lost (at least to him) iMac...porn sites around the world have seen a marked drop in use...g

    ha ha ha

Man, I'm getting old or something... didn't see this thread until just now.

It's actually pbskids.org that my daughter like going to... she likes painting dragons there, and trying to find Ernie.

But yeah, 2 months. Never would have imagined.

Oh, and I can get on the iMac easily. I just fire up the Indiana Jones demo I have on the Xbox, and she heads to the arm chair to play. She's 2 years old, and she can beat up the first 4 bad guys. I get her into the room, tell her to hit the blue and green buttons, and she "beats up some guys".

Yeah it's wrong. But it's funny.

I'm there with ya man. I went and bought literally anything I could find that was "non-violent" for my son (who is three). He was obsessed (and still is) with watching me play first person shooter games.

This in and of itself wasn't too bad until I came in saw that when I had left the machine logged on, he would go through the start menu, program menu, start unreal tournament 2003, hit multiplayer, click on a server and start playing.

I kid you not.... I wish I were....

He could scroll the mouse around perfectly and even shoot. He didn't understand switching weapons or things like that. He would just run around shooting with whatever he had.

I watched just long enough to make sure my eyes weren't playing with me and then put an end to it.

I had to go buy the other games to try to get him interested because he kept asking if we could play a game and "shoot people"

I told him we don't shoot people, we shoot monsters....

    It made me feel better....sorta.....

However he is very found of Frogger II, Pacman 3d, things like that.

Yeah, I have to get some more kid-friendly games. She enjoys seeing Jones beating people up a little too much. (she just calls him Jones)

Actually I found Indiana Jones on TV on Saturday night, and his face was on the screen, with the hat and everything. I asked her who that was (she's never seen the show) and she looks for a few seconds, lets out a big grin, and yells "that's Jones!!"
