Apple to bid for Universal Music????

Do you guys think it might influence the next revision of the iPod and figure into this new music service we have been hearing about for a while.

    I'm sure there will be profound effects on the iPod....but I'm more interested in the fact that Apple is willing to plunk down 5-6 Billion on this, when they only have about that much total cash. Seems like a pretty big risk, I hope steve knows what he is doing.

    not sure why this thread is in future hardware but oh well...



    i very much doubt that they would slap 5-6billion in cash on the table. prob about 2 and stock.
