p.mac won't keep date and time

yesterday i used diskwarrior for the very first time (thanks for the reccommedation brad!) and then installed 10.2.4 ever since then my computer won't won't keep the time or day. auto sync time doen't even work. ithink it's a 10.2.4 thing . i seem to recall it was fine after using diskwarrior

Reset PRAM (Command-Option-P-R at boot boom time) and, if it doesn't help, search <a href="http://www.macfixit.com/"; target="_blank">MacFixIt</a>.

thanks, that did the trick. i've never had to reset pram before, so i didn't think of it

problem came back

guess i'll check macfixit

although auto sync worked...

We're having the same problem over here. I searched MacFixit, but couldn't find anything. (Didn't that site go subscription-only? It seems like it's free again)

sounds like it must be 10.2.4 thing.

i am using 9.1, and i have the same problem: everytime i start up my iMac, the time is 12:00am 1904!

Update to 10.2.5 and you should be all set.

that has to do with your battery. replace it.
