Sounds intriguing. Depending on what they do with the car, and who they pick for the lead role, it could REALLY be cool! An action comedy would be great! Ah, K.I.T.T. is back, but will he be Knight Industries THREE Thousand now that we're in the 21st Century?

Is there no TV series too lame for some coke-addled movie exec to turn it into a shite film/franchise? Nostalgia isn't what it used to be.

I guess it'd be appropriate to start looking for the one to blame. Dare we look in the direction of BRAD!?

Or maybe it's that darn Panjabi MC with that unpronouncable hit single.

jeez, is OWEN WILSON going to be in it?

(he just did ispy, he's doing starsky and hutch now, maybe he'll do KR next!)

How about Starsky & Hutch ?

    Or Gomer Pyle...?

    or Maynard G Crebbs.

Ah the many loves of Dobbie .......if you were there you'd know the rest....

Should we resurrect "Time tunnel " or " Land of the Giants "......

At the risk of being thought of as a sicko, I actually pulled out my Neil Diamond record collection & played all 3 of them on my turntable.

    True Nostalgia.

Ah the squeeky tempo of "Hot August Night "

I even found some Donovan, some really old Beachboys singles and an original " magical mystery tour EP.

" Lets do the Time warp again "

I'd like to see a big Hollywood production of the Dukes of Hazard. I loved how they had a car without working doors. True art.

Ah, those were the days. That car is like every other race car out there, in that none of them have working doors. It improves the crash and wind resistance of the vehicle. For some reason, the Duke boys felt it necessary to drive their old race car around everywhere...and jump it over creeks...and drive it off of cliffs.

And then there was Daisy Duke...

starsky and hutch is coming out this summer (as i said in my post.)

    starsky-ben stiller

    hutch-owen wilson

    huggy bear-snoop dogg

    i'm not making this up.

and i meant to add in the previous post that there is someone offering luke and owen (wilson) a ton a dough to do "dukes of hazard"

Superkaratemonkeydeathcar, can we start a whipround to see if we can outbid said sicko and persuade them not to dilute their talents in sewerage. If we're in the market for this 30/40 something stuff, which i'm not, how about Champion the Wonder Horse 2003 starring Camilla Parker -Bowles?

i don't know how keen i am on the wilson boys for anything commercial. they are talented, but have they ever starred in anything (without jackie chan) that's made money? i want our 40% (to hell with thirty) add up to something!

it did about 35mil in u.s. but (a) they weren't the stars and (b) i don't waste my talents (chomping cigar) on anything that'll pull less than 100 mil. baby!

in fact owen is doing what every agent and manager in hollywood would tell an "indy" star.

"you gotta pull a moneymaker pal, or no one is gonna give you the time of day"

i loved tannenbaums by the way.

They would ruin it with half-decent special effects. Hollywood can't do it justice.
