Have you guys ever drank bubble tea? I had a huge glass today with strawberry flavor and vodka. It was insane. I am freaking out on how good those "gummy bear" things were inside! You need a big @ss straw! Make some noize for bubble tea!

    Yes

Bubble Tea has been around town for over a year.

There are joints popping up all over the place.

I dunno about the vodka streak tho. Mostly it is based on traditional jasmin tea, green tea, Milk ( Soy or Moo ) with added bitters & flavors, lychee, mango, etc, & lil'ol jelly things sitting in the bottom that you chew on.

Yeah the straws look like elephant trunks.

Makes me wonder where they get-em ?

Extra nice on a really Hot day.

    I could drink a gallon.

Only trouble is they're fattening like hell.

I also like it alot. But this is the first time I've heard it referred to as "bubble" tea. And how is it fattening? Is it it the milk or the little jelly things?

We had a really great little bubble tea shop open here a couple years ago. I think a UofW student opened it in her spare time and it has been a major hit. We have a large asian community at UW and it's in a plaza that backs onto campus, so she does great.

I tend to avoid the bubbles though. I used to order with bubbles, till I took a friend there and he comments that slurping the bubbles being like sucking snot balls through a straw...sort of put me off them for a while
