Every d***d time. Sales of a new product start. Every person in the world tries to log in and buy at the same time. Then everyone is shocked and angry that the online site is swamped. Well guess what, that’s what happens when everyone in the world tries to do the same thing at the same time. What’s next, getting annoyed that B&M stores are swamped on Black Friday? It is what happens and it doesn’t matter if it’s Apple or another internet storefront. If an item is this in demand, the site will struggle under the load.

I wait a month to order and don’t have any problems.
    Well, yeah.

The stuff I'm complaining about are process flaws - not response time flaws.

I kept getting messages about web pages not being found and ultimately my order and duplicate order were put under an email address with no corresponding Apple ID - so I couldn't simply log in and use automated facilities to cancel the duplicate. Obviously, Apple was using the wrong field in my customer record to assign the Apple ID of the order owner.

Also, because of the process flaws the ship date had slipped a couple of weeks by the time I was able to successfully get the order in, despite the fact that I started the process at 0500 Pacific.

When I put in my Apple Watch 8 order on the 7th, it went in under my main Apple ID, just like it was supposed to - so Apple obviously put in new code for the iPhone preorder which had flaws that weren't present on the 7th.

Anyway doesn't the XXVIII amendment to the constitution give all Americans the right to bitch and moan about politics, websites, the weather, and all other things beyond our control?  :D

It was a nightmare for me.

I placed the order for Pro Max 512GB, at around 08:05 to 08:07 Eastern time, and received the delivery timeframe between 04 to 12th October. But since I was trying to buy though instalment with Paybright, it didn't work for me until later in afternoon, I placed several orders, including one without instalments. Luckily this morning I received an email from them due to some issues it didn't work well for my order and allowed me to try again with the same delivery date timeframe.

How come I received the delivery date of 4th Oct though I placed it as soon as they opened up the site, and some are receiving on 16th Sep. I am in no rush but that type of buying experience is kind of disappointing.

As I am out of town for several weeks, I would not be there to sign for an early arrival. Ordered an iPhone 14 Pro Max 1TB late Friday and my delivery time is 10 to 17 October which work out fine for me. Perhaps any initial build issues could be fixed by then and a dot one OS installed.

Ordered mine through AT&T this morning. It says it won’t be here until October 24 through the 31st. Yikes.

I agree. That being said, I was a little shocked at the delivery estimate for mine, October 24 through the 31st. Ordered this morning. I tried on Friday but AT&T still said coming soon. I guess waiting a day was a bad idea lol. I’m assuming it will probably come before then.
