Penguin in Toy Story 2...

I just watched toy story 2 and I was wondering if the squeaking penguin in there is a reference to linux?

Didn't pixar use linux rendering farms at one point?

I do believe around Toy Story 2 they had not yet moved into their new facility, so I've no idea what their render farm was. I dobut it was SGI based, but who knows. The workstations are SGI based.

If you look back, the identity for Quicktime 3.0 was a penguin. There are penguins everywhere.

Moof is the sound that a dog cow makes. (read mac addict way back issues.) I still have a moof t-shirt (and wear it!).
