My boys in Dallas WON'T let that happen. Hatcher ain't goin' out like that.
No, he'll just sucker punch a few Ducks players on the way out...
I was watching the Ottowa/Philly game with some friends in a bar eariler tonight. They loved the firsty period, but the second period has obviously shut them up real nice-like. Whoever wins this series will need seven games and probably some overtimes only to face a Devils team that's taken care of Tampa Bay in five relatively easy games. Should be fun!
what a pile of crap. fernandez was sitting on the damn puck and the stupid canuk knocked his skate away after he had sat on it. they didn't stop play 'cause there were only a few seconds left though.
A. Alcimedes: f you're describing the play I think you're describing (last Vancouver goal before OT), Fernandez never came close to controlling the puck that went in. It was sitting right next to his skate the whole time, the arial view showed it conclusively. Helluva game though. Canucks were fortunate to get that opportunity with only a second or two left (and no, time didn't run out either...)
B. Hey Dallas: Ahhhhhhhhh hahahahahahahahahahahaaaa!
Not only did we win, but big brawl at the end appreantly. I'm listening to it streaming Radio so Im not sure.
Mostly it was shouting and milling around, although Vancouver's Cooke got in a nasty slash on the foot of one of the Wild players and skated away ... also classy Canuck fans throwing beers on the ice. Look for some payback in Game 3.

looks like some jawing during the pre-game skate scheduling a few bouts
Darren Pang jinxed Brodeur on Monday. Well, he's another Roy. He'll be that much stronger for game 4. Speaking of, this is slightly off-topic, but do any of you think Roy-boy will call it quits this off-season? I know his hip has been bothering him again, and he might feel like his team has peaked.

Well Hatcher is probably going to be one crying fellow when it happens, but anything can happen. It could go to 7 and be one of the best series ever.
the canuck's good luck charm is about to share the singing with 18,000 rabid fans again...
cbc is even featuring stories about it.
