Game: Iraqi cards dealt so far

not to provoke the compulsive gamblers,

but from multiple news sources, such as this google result

the visible hand so far...

11 if we're playing Blackjack (good) or Baccarat (Bad),

and even without knowledge of house rules, we're definitely going to hit,

maybe double down towards 21 for the former, hope for a 7 if the latter

presuming 5 card Poker (does prisoner exchange count as Draw Poker?),

might have a straight...

step right up...

ante please...

place your bets...

next cards

call...

Ahh. Card tricks. First you show three cards. The nuclear-, the bio- and the chemicard. Then you swirl around with some tanks, planes and bomb to confuse the audience while replacing the original cards with the 55 you had in your sleeve. And then you convince the audience that the 55 cards were the ones you showed them in the first place.

Can I hire the magician for my nephews birthday?

Didn't they get Dr. Germ? Is he in the deck? Good thing he wasn't with his pal Chemical.

I'm too lazy to post images, but according to CNN, our hand now looks like:

    - 9 Clubs (Jamal Mustafa Abdallah Sultan, Saddam's son-in-law, deputy head of tribal affairs office)

    - 8 Diamonds (Hikmat al Azzawi, Deputy prime minister, economics and finance minister)

    - 7 Diamonds (Lt. Gen. Amir al-Saadi, Presidential scientific adviser)

    - 5 Spades (Watban Ibrahim Hasan al-Tikriti, Half-brother of Saddam, presidential adviser)

    - 5 Clubs (Barzan Ibrahim Hasan al-Tikriti, Half-brother of Saddam, presidential adviser, former head of Iraqi intelligence service)

    - 4 Hearts (Abd al-Khaliq Abd Al-Gafar, Minister of higher education and scientific research)

    - 4 Clubs (Samir abd al Aziz al Najm, Baath Party regional command chairman for the Baghdad district)

Two pair isn't too shabby for 7-card stud. The real question will be what comes first, straight or full-house? And will we ever be dealt a face card?

Oh yea those are the "real" ones. Those Iraqi guys are not "real". All that killing, murderer, rape, torture, genocide, ethnic cleansing wasn't real.

    This is not real.

Jailed Iraqi children run free as marines roll into Baghdad suburbs

    This is not real either.

Threat Gone, Iraqis Unearth Hussein's Nameless Victims

The graves of people convicted as enemies of Saddam Hussein were marked with numbers, not names. Now that he is gone, families are finally collecting their dead.

Good thing we have SJO's thoughtless knee jerk anti-americanism to help us focus on what's "real" in this world.
