Music Store: No Canada?
Okay, we didn't join the Coalition of the Willing, but that's no reason to lock us out of the Music Store!
Canada is the most broadband nation on Earth. The market up here would be huge at $0.99 USD/song.
Why isn't the service "US and Canada Only" as most Apple products/services usually are?

the problem is most likely in licensing, most music is licensed for distribution differenlty outside of the US, including Canadan, they got the top 5 record labels, but outside the U.S. many of these labels don't actually have the rights to the music. thats most likely one of the major problems
Is this an educated guess or do you have a source or link?

Kind of ironic that it's not available in Canada considering the QuickTime video has Alanis Morrisette promoting the Music Store.
Boy isn't that strange.
Now let's see...
Is Apple not yet providing music to the rest of the world via their new service because:
1 - Apple don't want the sales and/or they figured it would neat to piss of the rest of the world.
2 - Past/Current contracts that music *and* video content owners signed have made it much harder for companies like Apple and other online services to support places outside the US.
Gee ... let's think about this for awhile...
