I have had this problem with my iPhone XS for so long that I thought that it must be a ´feature not a bug. It is particularly bad when trying to swap keyboards when changing languages. You can tap the keyboard icon til the cows come home and nothing happens. Fix it please.
This touch rejection feature sounds like the best idea ever, something I've wanted on touchscreen phones for over a decade, the trouble is implementing it, as it's all guesswork for the phone, maybe some extra sensors which don't yet exist will need to be added along with some neural implants, so the phone knows whether the touch was in fact a touch and that you weren't just handling the phone while the screen was on.
3) The camera button (sorry Apple, it's a Button) seems very quirky, touch, half-press, finger slide . . . I'm currently playing and learning with it. But it seems "longer" to access features than normally just using the touchscreen?? I'm not sure it's a real usable tool.
Just curious if the recent spate of bugs in updates/releases are a function of the sheer number of devices apple has to test it on? Kind of pales in comparison to Apple's competitors woes but still its not something apple is used to historically.
I've experienced this on my iPhone 16 Pro Max, but I thought it might be related to the super-dumper TORRAS screen protector I'd installed - I've been resorting to doing swipes over the cards in my solitaire game.
I've finally experienced a totally dust-free bubble-free pristine screen protector installation, and I sure hope this is simply a software bug.
Rip off that screen protector! You don't need it.
I buy a Pro Max every year, and put on a screen protector and case before I even turn on the phone.
This year instead of giving it to a relative, I'm selling my 15 Pro Max to buybacktronics.com - and was able to sell it as flawless despite experiencing a pinhole puncture in the screen protector.
No matter who the next user of my phone will be, I like to keep it as pristine as possible.
Anyone notice any weirdness with posts on this site?
I've been noticing some kind of strange windowlet appearing on the left side of the editing pane after which my post disappears and a blank post window appears.
Unfortunately, the windowlet disappears before I can read its contents.

protector, at it seemed rather thick at 0.8mm. So removed it, and the issue persists.
but don't they test software before they release it?
is this the crowdstrike school of quality control ?
It happens infrequently enough that testers were probably thinking it was their screen protector causing the issue.
