You mean like what rate to they charge? They charge your state sales tax. I guess they give to your state. You have filed the "use tax" in your return this year right? I know I did!
I use my check card as a credit card, well, in all places credit cards are accepted. Works great. I've stopped telling clerks that it's a check card, they say they don't take them, I just say Do you take Mastercard? and it goes through without a hitch.
For those of you who refuse to get credit cards but would still like to use services that require them...

As long as you faithfully pay your balance in full every month, they're great! I use mine for everything. Groceries, rent, bills.....
The only place I ever really use cash anymore is at the bar.
