This seemed like a fun topic to start.

What music have you purchased through the iTunes Music Store?

It'll give us an idea of what everybody is listening to, and might give people some ideas for stuff to check out.

Coltrane: Blue Train - the whole cd was just $4.95. That's kick ass.

Wouldn't it be cool if you could set up play lists that people could buy? Or can it already do that?

I bought Dylan's It's Alright Ma, because Aquisition only yielded one download that even moved. It was 11mb, twice the size it should have been, going at 2k, and would have taken me an hour and a half.

    You win Steve. You win.

Oddly enough I'd never heard the song before listening to someone's music in the Share Your Library thread. Hit the link in my signature, you know you want to.

    Convergence at work.

The whole point of this online downloading thing is that it's audio porn. All the stuff I was too ashamed to admit to liking in public, I can now purchse in relative anonymity, my neighbors, firends and family none the wiser. I'm certainly not coming out of the closet now. No, give me my skeletons, DRMed if need be.

McCoy Tyner, a variety of 9 jazz standards: all the things you are, have you met miss jones, etc.

He's a really great jazz pianist, and I never could find anything worthwhile by him over acquisition.

Yeah, they've got the Complete Bill Evans on Verve for $179.82.

    It's 277 tracks.

I was acquisitioning a few songs. Taking the fight back to Steve. I tend to download in groups, 10-15 songs at a time, so it really bogs down my connection. Uploading on gnutella or dc really kills it too, though I can usually squeeze a game of Myth II in there.
