    Good to see.

Cook is they’re to look ahead and can see the potential blessing of current moves down the road
We had 50 years of US leadership selling out our manufacturing base to a Communist regime and it seems most people are only angry at President Trump for trying to change that course.  The CCP is literally fascist. 🤷‍♂️
That is why those fugly red MAGA hats are made in……Oh never mind.

Maybe Tim can have Trump design the next iPhone Pro.
….or Elon.  It would have sharp edges to injure you if you hold it wrong, and be held together with glue.

Sounds like most of you are opposed to moving more manufacturing back to the USA by balancing trade inequities through tariffs.
People oppose it because it won't work. For example, tariffs don't just increase the price of consumer products. They also increase the price of industrial supplies and materials that are used by U.S. manufacturers. How is that going to move manufacturing back to the U.S.? The statistics on Trump's more limited 2018/19 trade war in his first term show that the U.S. lost more manufacturing jobs than it created during that time.

You need to look at factual information about U.S. manufacturing. The manufacturing output of the United States today is much higher than it was during the 1980s. But the number of jobs in manufacturing is much lower. Why? Because U.S. manufacturers primarily focus on automation.

This reality is one of the reasons many people are skeptical about use of AI. It's yet another way to automate output and it's related to employment areas that previously didn't have much automation.

Trump has claimed he has made deals with 200 countries. There aren't 200 countries in the world. The most generous explanation is that he doesn't know how many centuries there are and just made up a claim because he wants people to think is tariffs are working. The less generous explanation is that his cognitive abilities have declined to the point that he actually thinks there are more than 200 countries and that he has actually made deals with 200 of them. Neither of those explanations would indicate that he has a particular strong intellect and by no means would that qualify as "smart".

A government cannot be communist and fascist. Those ideologies aren't compatible. Do you actually know the definition of either word? Rhetorical question, it is clear that you don't.

You are also using a straw man argument. No one is angry that Trump's goal is to limit China's hegemony. What people are against is his approach. Cult members won't get that distinction as they see Trump as infallible and can't separate the approach from the goal from the man.

I have to wonder how Steve Jobs would handle this situation. From what I know of Jobs I can’t imagine he would be kissing Trumps ass, but much more likely to tell him to go to hell.

I oppose to Apple selling lees and worst products. If you need to produce where the labor is more skillful then move it.

Why don't we have in the US the people to pick the watermelons, build the houses and serve tables or be in the kitchens?

Why are there 7 million US people unemployed  (or more), because they don't have the skills or want to dirty their hands and want to live like the corrupt billionaires in the government.

Tariffs and Inflation are the most expensive tax you can impose. Go look in the books of economics. You. never know when they start and when they stop.

As a Canadian it is sad to watch business leaders and politicians bow to Trump in fear. We are all going to suffer greatly under this administration, along with the rest of the world. Trying to step back to "the golden age" is insane. It was a time when the American worker was horribly exploited and seems to be the goal of Trump and friends.

It is time for people to stand up for their rights and their future while they still can.

We’re living in a very corrupt age and business leaders appear to be fine with a lot of the corruption.
No it's obviously not corruption, when it's the tRump family receiving the benefits. That's what you get for electing a convicted felon that has had multiple bancruptcies on his record.

I know why I dumped my AAPL stock (in December) and moved it out of the US..
