Are you talking about 10.2.6? I just updated a Pismo and a G4 Powermac without trouble. Before updating I repair permissions, run MacJanitor and fsck. Don't know if it helps but can't hurt.
well, right now, i have 10.2.5. whenever i run software update, it just bounces once or twice, and then goes away...not even a "the application has unexpectedly quit"! Also, the installer quits unexpecditly (it says) after I authorize it...this is making Nebagakid ANGRY!

also, after installer is authorzied, it quits as well....whassup!?
Updating from 10.2.3 to 10.2.5 worked on a few machines but on 2 I have this error.
Fixed one by booting from the 10.2 cd and fixing permissions.
The last mac just doesn't want to know about it.
Will Re-format and install the bugger this weekend.
Dobby.
nada!
Does anyone have any fixes besides "re-install"
becuase, like, I did that last week, and it is getting really tiring to do it!
