Okay, I think most of us can agree that the internet is one of the most significant media outlets, changing how work, communication and play occurs on a daily basis. What would you be doing right now without the internet.

i think most of us don't live on the computer all the time (most of us). so, surely we could do any number of things we do when we're not on the computer. for me, that'd probably be smoking, drinking or fvcking (puting it like that reminds me of a line from Dazed and Confused, "I came here to drink some beer, and kick some ass. And it looks like we're all out of beer," in my head though i replaced 'kick' with 'get').
on the other hand, had we never had the internet, that might be a different story. well, then again maybe not. i'm sure my life wouldn't be quite the same and all, but when it comes down to it: smoking, drinking and fvcking are all a lot of fun, and were also fun long before Al Gore. i might not have the same friends, or hang out with the same people; but i'm pretty sure that i'd be doing pretty much the same thing. i got into each of these activities independant of the internet. my job would probably be about the same (i haxd b4 i new aboot th' inanet), maybe i'd be at some other company or sumthin.
Funny! My power went out 2 days ago (transformer in my backyard blew) so I had no internet. However my neighbors across the street still had power and an unencrytped wireless netowrk.

Staring mindlessly at my computer screen, fondling the scroll wheel of my mouse.
Basically, the same thing.

Mightt be funny with the right commentary, but in America if you put it on video you can sell anything.
