are they going to be one of the top reasons to by a Mac long-term?

i spent this morning farting around trying to keep all the PC's we have working as bugbear.b ripped through all our PC's. keylogger, this, that the other. all sorts of annoying crap.

i'm so sick of it. again, Macs are just fine.

Heh, we were dealing with LoveGate at my office yesterday and Bugbear today (but I wasn't there ).

Viruses are a major pain and waste of time.

I really hope that we can keep this argument of being virus free.

I think that as soon as somebody would want to write a virus for Mac OS X, he would have to use a Mac, and therefore he'd get spoiled and fall in love with his Mac until they pry it from his cold dead hands. So to speak.

I mean, really. I never had to deal with a virus on the Mac. Ever.

What's bad is that Apple destroys that argument itself. .Mac virus protection, anyone?

I understand that it's still important that we (Mac users) don't pass on any viruses we receive to our windows fellows.

I mean, after all, we're all humans. We live and die together. Basta.

i really wish that apple could advertise their OS' lack of virii without requesting that the entire evil-programmer community start writing them. i think the complete and total lack of viruses, and immunity to windows viruses could be a huge selling point for max.
