When?
Prosaic question. Assuming that Apple unveils at least a modestly upgraded PowerMac at MWNY, I'll be buying. Based on such upgrades in the past, can anyone tell me when I can expect to have the new machine in the door?
Merci.

There's really no way to tell. Depending on part availability, Apple can sometimes have units available for sale that day, or they may say that you can place an order today and have it delivered anywhere from a few weeks to a few months down the road.

I've noticed that it depends mainly on the degree of upgrade. The more minor the boost the sooner it comes to your door.
BUT if there is only a minor update to the PowerMac, the availability would be like 5 days ...
If it's a big update (like G5 or much better mobo) it'll probably be a while before you get it.
